Directors Jane Sunley and Jo Harley use psychometric profiling tool iWAM when recruiting any new members to our team. This means they can compare the candidates to each other, the team, and the job description to see how they match the required competencies. Once shortlisted they can then use the tool to design questions for the interview.
Any new recruit then completes another psychometric tool, SDI, which looks at their value system so they can get a good idea as to how to manage them. Its not about treating people the same, its about finding the right way to get the most out of each person as an individual.
iWAM and SDI are both used within the year for our own team building sessions. To make sure everyone understands each other and can best support and relate to each other. This improves both morale and business results.
Directors meet with their non-direct reports regularly to coach and mentor them ensuring that they have a clear career path, are working to their full potential and their individual aspirations are being met.
All members of the team are encouraged to work on their personal development and have access to any of our Learning Bites and our Management Development Programmes (both public courses).
Throughout the year, everyone partakes in various social activities or outings, this helps to make sure employee engagement is at its highest and learnpurple’s employee value proposition (evp) is being met.
And last but not least, the company all partakes in an annual appraisal using our talent toolbox system, where performance is reviewed, two-way communication is facilitated, development plans put in place and the directors can get a clear picture of how everyone is feeling about the organisation.
And all of this is done so that we can be a great company and produce great results for you, our clients!
