Emotional intelligence (EI) is a vast subject, covering an array of topics. This is why we’re dedicating two sessions to this area. This first looks at EI in relation to the individual’s own self; bringing compassion and humanity to work in order to be more effective. Learning to regulate emotional reactions and responses ensures delegates will become more controlled, less stressed and happier at work – all of which can improve productivity.

Includes:

  • The ups and downs of emotions – recognising emotional signals and learning to manage in any situation
  • Knowing attitude – understanding how attitude and behaviour influences choice and emotional reactions
  • Confidence: where this comes from and how to gain it
  • Self regulation  - becoming a person others want to know and work with
