Lynne Bellinger - Managing Director, learnpurple UAE
learnpurple UAE was formed in February 2011 and aims to help organisations in the UAE to engage, develop and retain the talent they need to prosper and grow.
Prior to launching learnpurple UAE, Lynne founded The Hospitality Company in 2002 after a highly successful career spanning more than two decades within the five-star hotel industry. With hands-on experience forged through an initial rooms division career path, Lynne rapidly built her reputation within the human resources, recruitment & training fields.
Born in England, Lynne has worked in the Gulf since 1992, initially in Bahrain and then Dubai, working for companies such as Forte Hotels and Starwood Hotels and was part of the opening team at the One&Only Royal Mirage where she led the human resources & training department in the successful launch of this prestigious property.
In addition to this, Lynne also provides strategic HR consultancy to senior hospitality clients.
Loreen Salloum - Learning and Development Manager
Loreen holds a batchelor's degree in human resources from Concordia University in Canada. She joined Limited Brands (Victoria’s Secret, Bath & Body Works and La Senza) in 2004, beginning her career supporting the Eastern Canada operations team. Here she executed and implemented HR strategy in the areas of learning and development, recruitment and selection, performance management and all areas of employee relations and engagement.
After a successful five years in this role, Loreen was promoted to the international department supporting partners in both the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Here she made a real difference, empowering people to be the best they can be by working with top leaders in the organisation. In addition, she was the first ex-pat woman to interview, induct, develop and welcome women to the workforce for the first time in the company’s history in Saudi Arabia.
Loreen is passionate about leveraging talent and helping organisations recognise that people make or break a business. She is very outgoing and sociable, has great communication and leadership skills and thrives on challenges.
Marie Quigley - Learning and Development Associate and Professional Development Coach
Marie is a seasoned coaching and development professional with over 22 years of international experience. She has gained extensive experience in talent management, teaching, learning and development, recruitment, and personal, executive and corporate coaching. Marie is passionate about inspiring human potential and awareness and delivering superior people performance.
She sets out to make a real difference, empowering people to be the best that they can possibly be; awakening the possibilities of leaders from all walks of life giving not only structure and support but also the skills and tools to reach their true potential.
Marie’s specialises in working with leaders, identifying strengths and challenges and making them aware of the issues which prevent them from being an outstanding performer. She is focused on open communication, positivity, possibility and productivity that create inspiring results.
Born in England, Marie has worked abroad since 1992, firstly in the former East Germany, then Singapore and Ireland. For the past five years, since arriving in the UAE, her focus has been on personal and professional leadership coaching, gaining her co-active qualifications through the Coaches Training Institute in Dubai.
