John Duminy (JD) - Chief Purple Wizard

Having graduated from the school of life with first class honours, John had a fine time as a rock musician, busker, actor & free spirit. Then he woke up in 1986 and decided to become a computer programmer.  If you’d like a list of the amazing font of knowledge John accumulated on his way to becoming a guru, please ask us. For most people, reading this stuff may cause you to lose the will to live though suffice to say he has conceived all manner of ground breaking software solutions and, in short, is the absolute best. Which is why JD is our Chief Purple Wizard. As well as building a fab tool for creating e-learning courses that is being used by thousands of happy people worldwide, he is the architect of our talent toolbox family of solutions and responsible for dreaming up ways to make them better and better. If you were to ask John, he’d also say he’s responsible for raising the dead, walking on water, bending the fabric of time and space and other such minor miracles.

Dermot Walsh (DW)

Dermot studied electronics & advanced beer drinking. He then joined Intel where he learned how to make  microchips (he tells us out of fine Irish micropotatoes, though that doesn’t sound quite right to us). He was very good at this strange alchemy and subsequently became a service engineer manager. When we met Demot he was working as a regional technical manager responsible for the Irish support team. This role required great people and organisational skills as well as in-depth  technical knowledge of computer hardware and software systems, all of which he now brings to bear in his current role with talent toolbox  – all of this will give you a few clues that he’s very good at service.  In 2007 he joined us as infrastructure and development manager where responsibilities include carrying out five simultaneous MSN conversations with London team, managing the enterprise network, inspiring and leading our team of  developers, all whilst smiling and remaining mentally stable.

Sean Maher

Seany is Dermot’s right hand man and after graduating from Edinburgh with a degree in Civil Engineering he joined team Ireland to make sure that Dermot gets to go home sometimes. He is learning all the very important technical things that a technical person needs to know (coding and all that) and he is very good at keeping calm and getting the job done with style and creativity.

Michael Dunne

Michael’s primary role is to keep team Ireland under control and make sure they are delivering on time (and letting the London team know when members of the team are in the 'zone' and not to be disturbed). He also supports the London team with uploads, updates and our fab purple website.
