learnpurple directors

Jane Sunley
CEO

Following a successful career within hospitality management, Jane spent a number of years as MD of a specialist recruitment company, which she co-founded. Having realised that if someone could help companies to become a great place to work, there wouldn’t be such a crisis over ‘the talent war’, in September 2001, she formed learnpurple.

September 2011 saw the publication and launch of her first book - Purple your People: the secrets to inspired, happy, more profitable people.  Published by Crimson Business, this simple yet powerful book helps business owners and HR professionals ensure they have the right talent for their organisation, seriously enhance their reputation and become a people magnet. Jane is the current president of HR in Hospitality, panel member of the Economist Intelligence Unit, a fellow of the Institute of Hospitality, a member of The Talent Foundation and a visiting fellow at both Oxford Brookes and Sheffield Hallam Universities.  She is a frequent contributor to the press and is regularly invited to give speeches and media interviews on people issues.  In addition, Jane is a popular conference chairman.

Jane is also very enthusiastic about making learnpurple a really great place to work and grow.
