Following 4 years as a Royal Marine, Gavin graduated with a BA in Business Studies. He spent the next 20 years working in the hospitality and food industries, originally in commercial roles and then as managing director of a variety of food-related businesses supplying service organisations and major retailers.

Gavin believes that people should be encouraged to achieve their full potential through effective learning and development solutions and employee communication tools, a belief he shares with learnpurple. On being introduced to their suite of innovative products and services he realised the potential to expand learnpurple’s engagement with companies in Scotland and joined the group.

learnpurple Scotland was formed in February 2010 and strives to help Scottish businesses prosper and grow through their people.
