Anne Fogarty

Anne has 10 years experience as a Training Consultant in the UK and Ireland working with a range of public and private sector organisations.  Anne recently spent 2 years as Management Trainer with the BBC where she led the design, delivery and evaluation of “Leadership Essentials”, an award nominated strategic 6-day leadership programme for new BBC managers. She also spent 6 years in Microsoft’s European Operations centre of which 4 were spent at middle management level. 

Anne’s expertise includes leadership, performance management, and communications. In addition to this her qualifications include MSc in Training & Performance Management, BA in International Marketing & Languages – Spanish & French, Myers Briggs Type Indicator – Steps I and II, SDI (Strength Deployment Inventory), Hogan Assessment Instruments, OPQ32, Belbin Interplace and Team Role Accreditation.

Anne is fluent in English and Spanish, strong in French, and has a working knowledge of Portuguese.

Debra Adams

has been associated with the design and delivery of courses in financial management for almost 15 years. Debra trained as a Chartered Management Accountant with an international hotel company and has also lectured at IHMI Cornell University. Debra is Course Director for the British Association of Hospitality Accountants Education Programmes and has also written 'Management Accounting for the Hospitality Industry - A Strategic Approach', published in 1997 and used at universities all over the world.

Rosemary Bannister

Rosemary is an award winning sales and marketing professional with 20 years experience. After graduating with a degree in hospitality management, Rosemary worked her way up from sales executive to Director of Sales and Marketing.

She has managed and developed both sales teams and businesses through taking a strategic approach. She won a regional training award for a course developed for conference and events sales teams, won Small Sales Team of the Year and was runner up for Manager of the Year in the National Sales Awards programme. Rosemary trains in all aspects of management , customer service and many different sales related courses such as Selling Skills, Negotiation Techniques and Account Management.

Rosemary holds a diploma in business coaching and coaches sales people, sales managers and managers. She regularly coaches in presentation skills for those who are daunted by the prospect of public speaking.

Nicola Bish

Originally trained as a lawyer, Nicola moved into human resources and has 18 years experience at senior level. As well as providing generalist HR support, she specialises in attitudinal change, personal and career counselling and mentoring. Nicola is also highly experienced in the formulation and planning of assessment centres and in the use of the iWAM profiling tool and OPQ.

Tim Browne

Tim Browne has spent over 15 years in the hospitality and leisure industry. He is a certified trainer in NLP and a talented personal coach and presenter with a highly individual style. He specialises in communication, attitudinal change and management development. Tim also contributes to developmental forums and is a member of various committees such as HR in Hospitality.

John Cull

John has broad ranging experience as an international management and training consultant, both in the commercial and, more recently, charity sectors.

He began his career as a participant on the inaugural cabin crew development programme with British Airways. This led to four years working as cabin crew training manager where John and his training team designed and delivered a series of leadership promotion seminars (including assessment centres) to a population of over 1000 Cabin Service Directors and Pursers.

On leaving BA in the mid 80's, John purchased and transformed a country house hotel in the west country. After three years trading, it was profitably sold with recommendations in the Good Hotel Guide, Good Food Guide & Michelin.

During the 90's, he worked for Lifeskills Int. and latterly the Hay Group, working as consultant and project manager for large scale customer service projects including; Abbey, Leeds Permanent Building Society, Joshua Tetley, Thomson Newspapers and Thomson Holidays.

Thereafter, he has worked as an independent consultant designing and delivering training for a range of UK and international clients which include the following skill based programmes; mentoring and coaching, customer service for managers team leaders & front line staff, leadership & change management, presentation skills, train the trainer, performance management, selection interviewing, diversity & equality.

During this time, John has been building his reputation as a specialist in the field of mentoring and coaching notably with The Prince's Trust and Youth Business International. He was awarded his MA for coaching and mentoring practice in 2006.

Currently, John is a member of the MSB project team delivering leadership seminars to pilots (upgrading to captain) at NorthWest Airlines, Minneapolis. The programme has helped NorthWest establish its leadership seminar as the pre-eminent programme for pilots within the USA.

Caroline Doughty

Caroline has over 10 years experience gained at a senior level in Human Resources within large, complex, FTSE 100 retailing businesses. She has a strong reputation for the delivery of high impact results around group training and facilitation and personal coaching. For the last five years she has broadened her work experience by becoming an Integrative Psychosynthesis counsellor, learning and developing her craft at Re.Vision one of the UK's most rigorous and robust counselling training establishments renowned for its distinctive approach in delivering clinical excellence.

In addition to working with learnpurple, Caroline has her own counselling practice, which is regulated, insured and supervised to BACP standards. She works with a diverse group of clients from business directors to parents on a range of presenting issues. Her peers, clients and tutors describe Caroline as intuitive, open, warm, inspiring, courageous, and professional with a good sense of humour. Caroline is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and the Institute Of Personnel Management. Her work experience is coupled with a B.A. and Dipl in Personnel Management.

Edward Gallier

Edward is degree qualified with 19 years experience within the hospitality, leisure and tourism industry in business operations and human resources. He has worked with a number of large and small organisations, most recently Jurys Doyle Hotels as Group Development & Training Manager.

A people development specialist and chartered member of the CIPD, Edward plays an active part in the hospitality industry as a Conde Nast Jonhansens hotel inspector and Vice Chair of PATH (Placement Advisors in Tourism & Hospitality) a special interest group within the Council for Hospitality Management Education (CHME).

Edward designs memorable and inventive training that ensures results for the client and is user-friendly and easy to recall for the delegate.

His areas of specialisation are Leadership, Teamwork and Customer Care. Edward has wide experience in the development and implementation of business operating standards and their inspection across all grades of the hospitality sector.

Sonia Gavira (BA Hons, MBA, Dip M, MCIM, Dip DM)

Sonia is a highly accomplished business woman. Her ability to both see the bigger picture and nail the detail where necessary have already made her a successful marketeer and executive coach across industries as varied as airlines, household electrical goods, retail, hospitality, personal stationary and office products. She is devoted to learning - a language graduate, Sonia went on to gain Institute of Marketing and Direct Marketing diplomas, before attaining the MBA at Ashridge Business School. Sonia is also an accredited coach having qualified with the Coaching Academy.

Charmian Ingham

Charmian is a professional speech and voice coach who helps people deliver effective personal communication. She has developed a unique and creative coaching style, using methods and techniques tailored to clients' individual needs, whether on a one-to-one basis or for larger groups.

She is a classically trained actress and therefore has an innate understanding the art and techniques of delivering a clear message to the audience.

David Klaasen

David is an enthusiastic and emotionally intelligent communicator who clarifies complex issues and engages audiences coaching Directors and Senior Managers and facilitating development workshops. As an accredited Adviser and NLP Master Practitioner, David currently specialises in helping organisations to understand and optimise models of best practice in Human Resource Management, to evaluate management effectiveness and implement organisational change in the Hotel sector. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Constance Lamb

Constance is a professional actress and public speaking consultant. She works in television, theatre and voice-over mediums. She has an M.A. and is a trained teacher, having tutored undergraduates at Florida State University. She has worked with accountancy practices, banking, the motor industry, hospitality, the public sector, and TV and film.

Jenny Lamski

Jenny is a highly skilled qualified Personal & Executive Coach. She spent 20 years working within the hospitality sector and her business experience encompasses General Management, sales, purchasing, and employee development. Through her warm, supportive and charismatic personality, and her role as a Coach, she helps her clients to reach their goals and takes their learning and understanding to new heights. Jenny has also worked as a Coach with Manchester Business School working with Business Entrepreneurs, and is a Director of the NW London Chamber of Commerce.

David Mascord

David has a wealth of experience in journalism and proof reading having worked as a magazine editor. He is therefor ideally placed to deliver public and bespoke report and business writing courses. David runs his own small hotel in the New Forest, having previously managed a publishing company and been a director of a training company. He always ensures that the training he offers is interactive, hands-on and enjoyable.

Jacqui Matthews (MSc, MHCIMA, Cert Ed, Dip HCIM)

With more than twenty years experience, in both operations and HR across the Tourism and Hospitality sector, Jacqui has worked in hotels, restaurants, food service management and education. She is an enthusiastic trainer and coach, adopting a facilitative approach to training, enabling knowledge and skills development directly related to the business. Jacqui has assisted a number of organisations to successfully prepare for accreditation for Investors in People and Hospitality Assured accreditations. She is experienced in creating and delivering training solutions for management and customer facing teams.

Melissa Proles

Melissa has over 10 years senior level HR experience within a variety of retail, hospitality and leisure organisations and more recently has been focusing on providing training, development and support to other HR professionals. She has also delivered various sessions on Employment Law, HR for PA's and HR for the Non-HR Manager. Her passion is for assisting organisations in attracting and retaining people that make a company special, and in doing so is keen to help managers improve their people skills. Melissa also sits on the committee of her local CIPD Branch and regularly provides updates on employment legislation and case law developments.

Trisha Proud

After qualifying with a business degree from the University of Surrey, Trisha has enjoyed a distinguished career focusing her management and training skills within the facilities management project and contract management and catering and purchasing arenas.

During her time at the Automobile Association, Trisha was instrumental in out-sourcing and downsizing programmes of various services. As the Training and Food Services Director for Aramark, She was responsible for launching several new programmes including bespoke and unique packages for Health and Safety, craft skills, project and contract management workshops and board level strategic selling initiatives.

Whilst at Aramark, Trisha also earned the accolade of being the only non-American to win the company's prestigious "Mission One Award" for her skills relating to the contract management and retention of Aramark's BP account.

Amanda Rossi

Mandy is a highly skilled, learner-centred facilitator with extensive experience in a wide range of industries including sales, recruitment, contact centres and the travel sector and has designed and delivered programmes for agents through to CEO level. Vivacious and fun, she has enjoyed a successful and varied career, including setting up and developing contact centres. Anthea Yamey

Anthea is a specialist image consultant working in the field for over 20 years. Anthea is a founder member and appointed Fellow of The Federation of Image Consultants, an NLP Master Practitioner and a certified Life Coach.
