According to industry research, over 70% of hospitality managers haven’t undergone any off-job management development since they left further education. In order to meet the urgent need for some specialised, value for money management development to ‘bridge the gaps, learnpurple brings you a series of innovative, industry specific half-day workshops, which provide the necessary theory, tools and techniques plus the latest thinking. The workshops operate at three levels:
1. Management I - for assistants and deputies, chef managers, new managers, heads of department, supervisors, duty managers, bar managers, head waiter/esses and others who require a grounding or refresher in the ‘management basics’ ready for the next step up.
2. Management II - for area operations managers, more experienced site managers, general managers, restaurant managers, F & B managers, brand and multi-site managers and others who would like to update or refresh the theory and learn from best practice thinking, examples and techniques.
3. Management III - for operations directors, owner-managers, regional managers and other executives who would like a best practice update in areas essential to successful leadership. The workshops be held in London initially, rolling out regionally once established.
We have recruited a talented team of specialist trainers who deliver only in their preferred areas of expertise and specialism. All of them know this industry inside out.
Each programme offers six modules, which can be taken as a course or attended on an ad hoc basis to suit the business and the individual. These workshops provide essential management skills that can be practically applied straight away. Delegates will achieve HCIMA endorsed certification and will have an opportunity to build their learning over a continuous period of time.
Each block of six modules costs £1000 per delegate or £195 per module. There’s a 20% discount for HCIMA members - which seems like a good reason to join! In addition, if organisations have groups of 10 - 15 delegates, we can tailor the content and deliver in-house for £1500 per workshop.*
